I’ve been an OT since graduating from the University of Sydney with a Master of Occupational Therapy in December 2023.  I have worked at Facilitate OT since early 2023, initially as an AHA, then as an OT once I finished my degree. Prior to this, I worked in Occupational Rehabilitation for 10 years.

I enjoy working at FOT because I am surrounded by kind, intelligent, and supportive OT’s. FOT’s clinical and workplace values align with my own values, and I feel supported to trust my instincts and celebrate all wins, big or small.

I believe being an OT is the best career because we take a holistic approach to health, well-being, and participation, and we also have the freedom to be creative with our clients, helping them find personalized solutions to their challenges. The best part of my job is working with my clients to increase their independence and participation in the activities that they enjoy.

When not at work I enjoy playing team sports, going on bike rides and spending time with my three kids and my kelpie.  I love travelling and planning holidays – my favourite holiday ever was a visit to London and New York with my 10-year-old daughter!
