This year’s Christmas party was a mix of creativity and connection! We got our hands dirty with a pottery workshop at @black.duck.studio, creating unique keepsakes and sharing plenty of laughs. ⁠

Followed by dinner at @towradgibeachhotel, with a toast to 2024.⁠
⁠

Throwback to a couple of months ago when OT Carla had the opportunity to learn about the beautiful art of Chinese fan dancing from one of her amazing clients. ⁠

"It was such a privilege that she took the time to share a piece of her heritage with me - though I must admit, my attempt wasn't nearly as graceful!" ⁠

This amazing woman has recently returned to fan dancing and Tai Chi after losing the functional use of her arm. It's been a tough journey, especially since many of the movements require both arms. But her perseverance is truly inspiring—she's showing us all what resilience looks like!⁠

They offer Dementia and Driving Guidelines and Older Driver Guidelines + Educational Videos which are all invaluable tools for making timely decisions about driving with Dementia. ⁠

October was Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and while we may have missed the official window, breast cancer awareness is something we can honour any time. One of our thoughtful team members left us with beautiful flowers from their garden, a gesture that means a lot, especially to me as a breast cancer survivor. 💪

Breast cancer touches so many in our community—clients, staff, family, and friends. It’s a powerful reminder to prioritise our health, be vigilant about check-ups, and support each other through the ups and downs. I’m so grateful to be surrounded by a wonderful, compassionate team who have been there every step of the way.

Thank you to everyone in our community for your ongoing support. Let’s keep spreading awareness and encouraging each other to take care of our health. 🌸
